Having a wedding in Torquay was always going to be enjoyable, but the weather forecast predicted strong winds and rain! As you'll see from these photos, the sun came out, allowing for a beautiful outdoor ceremony and we even captured some lovely photos of Amie and Anthony with their horse plus a fun photoshoot with the bridal party at Bellbrae Estate.
Contact UsLet's start with Amie's preparation shots in the bridal suite at The Sands Resort in Torquay. The ceremony was going to be just one floor down, so this was a great, relaxed setup with no rushing to get to a church on time.
Because of the forecasted winds, Amie and Anthony chose to move the wedding ceremony location from the grass lawns at The Sands to a more sheltered outdoor location at the resort. It was great to have that flexibility and you couldn't tell from the photos that this was the backup venue! By the way, try to spot the two photos that were taken by our two photographers, Terence and Vanessa at exactly the same time from two different angles :)
I love it when couples request to include their pets or animals in their wedding photos. They add so much character, variety and personality to an album or photobook. After the wedding ceremony we captured some shots with Amie's horse in a nearby paddock, then it was off to the gorgeous BellBrae Estate.
It was back to The Sands Resort for the wedding reception where their guests had been relaxing. Check out the beautiful decorations and lights in the dining hall.
If you've got a bright red mini-combivan, you might as well use it! Congratulations Amie and Anthony on your beautiful wedding and thanks for giving us a 5 star review on our Facebook Page!
